The Sunfab ® hydraulically powered Orrliden ® chain-axle mower is specially designed to operate on uneven and difficult terrain, e.g. for clearing river banks, ditches, power line corridors, hedges, forest roads, road verges and farmland. Orrliden® 1600 with Sunfab® hydro-jam can effectively destroy even heavy growing brush up to 15 cm in diameter, slowing down its regrowth and reducing the need for maintenance. On rocky and difficult terrain, robust 10 or 13 mm crushing discs ensure reliable and economical operation.

Robust construction and versatility

The Orrliden® 1600 cutting head rotates freely up 90° and down 35° in the direction of the cutting path when cleaning, ensuring optimum performance in all conditions. The cutting head features double blades and a slanted housing for strength, wear resistance and long life. The feet for sliding on the ground are made of wear-resistant Hardox® steel. The feet can be fitted with additional 20 mm bolt-on wear pads, which in turn extend the life of the feet. The cutting head can be open on both sides, so it can cut right or left. To increase safety, a chain guard is fitted behind the cutting head, reducing the risk of stones being knocked over and the need for waste disposal.
